A colorful cartoon of a smiling boy, waving his hand, over multicolored background. The boy stands in front of large pieces of fruit.

A few of my favorite projects, across digital and print design.

I’ve worked on many projects, from product design, to branding and collateral, animation, character design, video editing, and more.

Some projects were more corporate, some more youthful. I’m always interested in exploring new industries and approaches.

Branding

The logo is the single most important piece of your brand. But brand identity goes well beyond a logo: typography choices, guidelines for color application, icons and other graphic assets to create stationery, advertisements, brochures, and digital applications.

These are some of my favorite branding projects. I like that they’re very diverse in terms of industry and positioning. That’s where it all starts: what are you trying to communicate with your brand, and how do you want your audience to perceive it?

A trifold bar menu, printed on kraft paper. Front and back views.

Hotel Florida

For this bar menu, the client wanted a retro feel with strong typographic character. I used vintage illustrations and a mix of typefaces to bring that to life, and wrote creative copy that highlights the origin and history of each drink.

Makro

A welcome catalog for new customers, that introduces the store’s diverse offer and brands.

Makro’s collateral materials weren’t doing justice to the quality of their offering. Carefully selected product photography elevated their bold, utilitarian branding. The end result felt like a higher quality product.

A laptop showing the Sonae Sierra Hub UI.

Sonae Sierra

This multi-property shopping mall portal helps shop tenants communicate with Sonae Sierra’s property management team.

Tenants can easily report their sales, issue employee access, request shop maintenance and renovations, and more. The application is responsive, and can be used on any device, so store managers and employees can use it without being at a workstation.

SIBS

SIBS wanted to promote their virtual credit card service, MBNet, with the messaging that shopping online isn’t scary.

I designed 3 friendly monster mascots for this campaign, and other related projects for MBNet (website, press kit, online ads and social media presence).

Three monsters, representing common fears about online shopping: complicated, scary, niche.

A video animation describing the process of requesting a digital certificate.

Multicert

The client needed a short explainer video for a security conference in Kuala Lumpur. The deadline was very tight, so I decided to do a storyboard with simple stick figures for client approval. The animation is a step-by-step guide to requesting a digital certificate, and features an electronic score, with a retro gaming Player 1–Player 2 trope.
